“¡Llévame al huerto!”: nueva exposición en el Centro Ambiental del Ebro

El Centro Ambiental del Ebro acoge hasta el próximo 31 de julio la exposición “Llévame al huerto” en la que se realiza un recorrido por el programa de huertos urbanos emprendido por el Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza a lo largo de los últimos años, partiendo de las experiencias pioneras de los huertos escolares, en la década de los 80.
En el exterior de la sala de exposiciones y sobre la cubierta del edificio un huerto de 36 metros cuadrados muestra la capacidad de producción de un espacio tan reducido capaz de proporcionar alimento vegetal para una familia, a la vez que se convierte en un “jardín comestible”.
La entrada a la exposición es libre y gratuita, hasta el 31 de julio. El horario de apertura de martes a viernes es de 18.00 a 20.00 horas (visitas guiadas para grupos de 12.00 a 14.00 horas). Los festivos, sábados y domingos estará abierto de 12.00 a 14.00 horas y el lunes permanecerá cerrado.

El Centro Ambiental del Ebro aparece en este interesante artículo de Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, publicado en la edición impresa de El País de hoy, sobre uno de los temas principales para la arquitectura en la situación actual: las posibilidades de los cambios de uso, el reciclaje, la reutilización,… tanto en relación a recuperar edificios antiguos con nuevos programas, como, en este caso, a revitalizar con nuevas funciones, distintas de las previstas inicialmente, los edificios contemporáneos infrautilizados o en desuso.

Jaime Magén Pardo participará con la ponencia “Ruido en centros educativos: la visión del Arquitecto” en la Jornada Ruido, Educación, Ingeniería y Arquitectura (REIA 2013), organizada por el Grupo de Vibroacústica de la Universidad de Zaragoza, que se celebrará el día 24 de Abril, entre las 18:00 y las 21:00 horas, en el Salón de Actos del Edificio Betancourt de la Escuela de Ingeniería y Arquitectura (EINA) de la Universidad de Zaragoza.
Jaime Magen Pardo will participate in the Meeting Noise, Education, Engineering and Architecture with the lecture “Noise in educational buildings: Architect`s vision”. The Meeting is organized by the University of Zaragoza`s Vibroacustic Research Group and will be held 24th April, from 18:00 to 21:00 h, in Betancourt Building`s assembly hall of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (EINA) of the University of Zaragoza.

The book collects 56 excellent landscape design works around the world; all reflect four essential landscape elements (public open space with humanizaed functions, layout with regional characteristics, the artistic style of architecture and garden and returning to nature) and put forward reasonable sollutions according to the actual conditions.

En el acto celebrado ayer en el Salón de Recepciones del Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza, el CEIP Rosales del Canal obtuvo el Premio de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la IX edición de los premios 3 de Abril, que organiza anualmente la Asociación de ex-concejales del Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza.
